Always best as fresh as possible, a good olive oil will smell and taste irresistible. Our olives are grown on a gently sloping hillside in Gidgegannup, Western Australia. Our climate is a perfect example of the Mediterranean climate best for olive growing. Hot dry summers, cold wet winters. Harvest time is usually sunny blue skies but not too hot.
Fresh olive oil has a wonderful fresh grassy taste that begs you to dip some soft fresh bread into it and eat just as it is. For variety put some balsamic vinegar into the oil or fresh chopped chillies, before dipping.
Other suggestions:
- Pour over freshly roasted vegetables and be hit with the aroma.
- Swirl into soup just before serving.
- Use in place of milk or butter when mashing potatoes.
Once you have experienced fresh Australian olive oil, it will be hard to go back to anything less.
Standard bottle is 500ml. Bulk orders welcome.
